Experience the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with Key West Jeep Rentals

You can’t think of Jeep without thinking of the off-road king. The Jeep Wrangler is the top dog among them. Every Wrangler proudly wears a Trail Rated badge. To earn this badge of honor, the vehicle must be capable of passing a series of grueling tests to prove its ability to withstand tough terrain, harsh conditions, and inclement weather. The Wrangler delivers power and efficiency with four available engines, one of which is equipped with the eTorque Mild Hybrid System for optimal low-end torque. No matter where you wander, Jeep has you covered with a variety of standard and available 4×4 systems, all of which provide outstanding traction. In the Wrangler, heavy-duty steel skid plates offer optimal strength, durability, and performance while helping to protect key components like the fuel tank.

Is the Rock-Trac 4×4 System available in part-time and full-time?

Whether you are off-road or on, the Wrangler can handle whatever you throw at it. The Rock-Trac 4×4 System is available in full-time or part-time four-wheel drive. It gives you impressive control and more torque. Thanks to the Wrangler’s high air intake, sealed electrical connections, and moisture-resistant body openings, you can splash in puddles or cross streams. It also offers outstanding maneuverability with precision steering systems and high-performance wheelbases. Every good off-road vehicle needs to be able to articulate, which is when the suspension components allow the car to bend or scratch in a way that keeps the wheels on the ground when the tail is not flat. Drive over logs, rocks, or just about anything else on the trail, thanks to exceptional ground clearance and protective underbody skid plates.

How much horsepower does the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited offer?

The Jeep Wrangler has four engine options. A 2.0L Turbo engine that delivers 295 pound-feet of torque and 270 horsepower. The available 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine offers 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque for impressive performance, an excellent driving range, outstanding low-end strength, and optimal off-roading. Jeep’s legendary Pentastar V6 comes with eTorque technology, and this is a mild-hybrid system that adds low-end torque for impressive starting power and exceptional rock crawling. Lastly, the 3.6 Liter V6 is the tried-and-true powertrain of the Jeep Wrangler. This engine offers an impressive 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It also comes with automatic Engine Stop/Start technology that increases its efficiency, allowing you to take your adventure further.

What is the traction ratio on the Wrangler Unlimited?

With Jeep’s part-time Command-Trac 4×4 system delivering torque to all wheels, your Wrangler will have incredible traction. Your adventure just got better. Plus, with a 2.72:1 low range for rock crawling and neutral for available flat towing, you can say yes to whatever the road or trail throws at you. Take your journey to the level with the available full-time Selec-Trac 4×4 System that automatically switches to two-wheel drive on clear roads for maximum efficiency or to four-wheel drive for continuous traction on snow, ice, rain, or mud. Wranglers come standard with an automatic transmission that features the Selec-Speed Control system. This system manages your speed while you are in 4LO making inclines, declines, and obstacles easier to conquer. Engine torque and brake pressure are automatically applied to maintain a consistent and secure off-roading speed with minimal driver input. Jeep’s Tire Fill Alert System takes the guesswork out of filling up and airing down your tires. When you fill-up, the system chirps the horn at the recommended pressure. When you air down, it chirps at your pre-selected pressure. With Jeep’s Off-Road+ button, you can adjust throttle, transmission shift points, and traction control for peak performance on higher speed passes on dunes or low-speed rock crawling.

What is the crawl ratio of the Jeep Rubicon?

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is a legend! This Wrangler comes from the factory ready to conquer any trail. Every Rubicon comes with a Tru-Lok Electronic Locking Differentials and the Electronic Front Sway Bar Disconnect, both of which provide outstanding traction and articulation. With factory 33-inch all-terrain tires, your Rubicon will climb over any obstacle in its path. Rock rails help protect the Rubicon’s door sills from damaging debris, while winch-capable steel bumpers have removable end caps so you can push the limits with radical off-road adventures. If your Rubicon is equipped with the Rock-Trac system, you will have a 4:1 low-gear ratio and an impressive 84:1 crawl ratio when fitted with the manual transmission to crawl over obstacles. The Electronic Sway Bar Disconnect system allows you to push and bottom front the driver’s seats and remotely disconnect your front sway bar.
